Search collectors by name or email.

GET/v1/collectors/{collector_id}

Collector detail with counties served and provenance. units=true (default) embeds the full list of served units; units=false omits the section entirely.

Collector types

collector_type is one of:

county — the county tax office collects for many units at once (the common consolidated case).
unit — the taxing unit collects its own tax (large ISDs mostly).
private_firm — a contracted collection firm (e.g. Linebarger, Perdue Brandon, UTS).
adjacent_county — a neighboring county's tax office handles it.

Contracts change

Unit → collector is many-to-many and changes over time (contracts are re-bid). The link carries validity dates internally; treat the API's current mapping as "as of as_of" and verify before submitting payment.
